Well the fishing has been off the charts for sure due to the warmer weather.  With water temps over 65 deg the trout are going to be scattered but the reds should be in pods around 20 fish.  I fished up in Lake Lery for some fun yesterday and there are a lot of redfish for sure along the southern banks where the marsh is broken up good.  Left there and headed over to Grand Lake and it was the same as Lery but the fish were up between the opening of Sun Lagoon and the small bayou that pours out to the west.  The entire bank had fish but it also had a lot of boats. Fall Fishing As a guide and professional angler, many people ask me what time of the year I like to fish for fun.  Well, November is THE month. Why? The fish are everywhere and so close to our dock.  This month will be some of the highest number of fish caught for the year.  Speckled trout, Redfish, and Black Drum are flooding the interior marshes, and our charter guests are the ones benefiting.  This is the first week of November and our customers have already caught over 1200 redfish and 760 speckled trout.  These numbers will only be limited by the amount of creel limits the state allows.  As a customer of Bayou Charters you know that we all work really hard to make sure that everything from catching the fish to explaining how to present your baits is an experience you will never forget!  If you are one that loves cooler weather, shorter boat rides, and some of the fastest action of the year you need to call or email Nicole now so you can get on a boat!  Remember, if
